i gave a ride home from work to a republican nice guy who thought the brakes were completely gone, and the repairs might cost more than the car was worth.
but a contact came and looked at it and put new pads on just out in the street--he said he thought it could last through my trip back to AL without new discs, so it all only cost $130.
meanwhile, i've been really startled by how obnoxious many people on jf have become, including zorrorojo. yes, i knew about the deletion and thought it was a good idea. the fallout has been enjoyable, too, so i'd do it again in a heartbeat, despite the unfunny/annoying wank it has also generated.
hey, because i'm allergic to metal i have to put bandaids on the insides of my pants to cover the snaps, or i get a curvy rash below my belly button.
work tomorrow, at 8 am.
