wax is really sick. she's burning up--although her forehead doesn't seem feverish, just kissing her just about burned my mouth.

i've given her some tranquilizers, which is probably illegal, but there's some suspicion that this is a neurotic/hypochondriac/psychosomatic reaction. i'm not feeling so hot myself. er, cool, that is.

wax converted me to master and commander and i her to sherlock holmes. after 'the empty house' it was they're so cute! after 'the devil's foot' it was 'oh my god, he's such a nut. ahhh! ee!' and after 'the bruce-partington plans' it was 'how is the slash? is it just good because you want to read it or is some of it really good? do you have it on your recs page?'

heh, heh. i've foisted eight days of luke and archer's goon on her for the trip back.

what am i going to do when she's gone? shit.

thanks, darlin.' unfortunately it turns out to be actual flu in the waxlet's case, but at least no head congestion to = explosion thereof due to plane cabin pressure shifts.
