sitting on wax's side of the desk increases my chances of having a kitty sit on my lap by nearly 100%. nice! although tea, the insane little bugger, won't settle down--she keeps turning in circles and whatnot. she's very funny with the corner of wax's pink and white sheet draped over her like a little cloak. she looks suspicious.
had a very nice gathering at
anglepoiselamp's last night. we watched withnail & i, which i liked even better than the first time i saw it, although
emmuzka and
shiroi_chi were unimpressed. and then we watched an episode of dr who about ghosts and a documentary about an obscure gay german performance artist. i was very impressed with sugar's copious amounts of knitting, and her speed. also, i want to watch the rest of dr who now. (i wonder where i recognise eccleston from? i need to look that up. aha! the others. it's odd--he sort of reminds me of ralph fiennes. i think it's something in the facial features, but i can't exactly place it.)
emma led chi and i the short way home--around past the front of the stone church. it hadn't snowed yet then, but the grass and the church were crusted in two days' worth of frost crystals. we walked through the enormous churchyard. a streetlight turned on for us. it was very beautiful. and then chi and i decided that we must have another t-shirt making party soon, regardless of whether wax wants to participate. chi wants them before christmas. anyone else interested? and if so, time preferences?
ahhah. now tea's burrowing in the sheet. and she keeps starting conversations. "mrrr." "really?" [pause] "mweeeee!" "oh." i think she likes the manics. oh! and it snowed last night or this morning. i don't think it will stay, it's mostly gone from the streets again. a respectable layer, though.

And I'm all for t-shirt making. Preferrably sometime in the beginning of December, when I'll have money to get more t-shirts. But I have one t-shirt that I've been saving for this purpose, so I guess earlier is okay too.
