so how was your morning?

i woke up at 11, afraid to go in the living room, where roommate #1 [lisa] and the visiting dletunya bf occupied roommate #2's [cate] futon. snuck out for linguistics text and read 1 chapter. re-emerged, hoping to take medicine and brush my teeth, close to 12, on tiptoe. whoa! lisa was sitting on bf's ass and kissing his spine. at least she was dressed. --guess i should've knocked. but hello? this is the livingroom. after breakfast, made a strategic retreat to the library, where 90% of ethernet jacks seem to be broken. finally found one. am sitting at a ridiculous little 70s-era glass-enclosed desk in the corner, as opposed to on the couch. of course the connections are broken there--everyone wants to use them. in other news, forgot headphones. no music. bleh.

so, i am looking for pics of arwen, aka liv tyler, to make icons out of, and i find this site. too too funny. why? it's in french. i don't know, i find french amusing, for some reason.

no one has pics of liv. ok, she's a valley girl. so what??? didn't they know i would want to make buddy icons of her using funny quotes from cassie claire's latest very secret diary when it came out???

so, am in the process of wading through qui-gon/obi-wan slash from the newer trilogy of star wars. finished the swa-l archive, which is smaller and of higher quality than the current task--the official site of the master & apprentice mailing list.

eh, haven't found one i liked yet, but then again, i'm still in the "a"s. except for some humor. but in other news, this is v. v. funny.

oh, the funny story, right. it is how to choose a jedi apprentice, a humor/parody by alaric. yay! cute.

i mentioned that already, but then katie and sil beta'd it for me, and actually caught typos, among other things. thanks! yay! so it is up here on rightthisway, and should eventually, i imagine, be up here, at spikelessspike's site, where she's got the master list and stuff. so, yay! accomplishment! posting and being finished and moving on to the she-ra femmeslash, even if naina doesn't like femmeslash :(.

sorry, naina. more dom/billy later. bug ice, why don't you? she has still not finished that exquisitely yummy new york (which doesn't seem to be on the website--*pout*).

...which, of course, is always a good reaction to produce. *helpless giggles* of course, that's the reaction you go for with romance, isn't it? but sara doesn't approve of sounding like you're having sex unless you (a) are or (b) are meg ryan in when harry met sally (don't you love that scene???) (and anything is ok if meg does it, because she's cute and has a cool haircut).

in other news, earlier today, when informed that she has a 3-day weekend and i do not, and so therefore she would not have been able to visit me even if she'd had the forethought to purchase bus tickets, sara said "poopy" (yes--a direct quote!) and signed off. uhmmmmm.

...and then i started reading livejournal, damn its siren song. how is it so ceaselessly fascinating??? oh right--i was going to write a story.
