more dreams. but. reader's digest versions!

the result of sleeping poorly was waking up and having four different dreams--it was really hot in our room last night, and i unwisely took a nap yesterday afternoon, so, you know.

1. i was in a house with a lot of people. who was there? some aunts and cousins. also silviakundera, for some reason, and some people i didn't know, but i knew they were slashers. and also some pirates. but some evil people were coming to get some, but not all of us--the pirates were going to be safe and they were helping me hide, because the other people who were going to be kidnapped (killed?) had already escaped. they told me to hide in the bathtub, and i discovered a secret compartment behind it where the wall opened, and you could crawl under it, but there was blood there. ick.

2. in the second dream, i was she-ra, and we were doing some kind of covert operation to get hordak, but it was in, like, scotland, and hordak was living in a gothic castle. hordak had some affection remaining for me from when he'd raised me (=adora), but was still ultimately evil, and i was somehow helpless. it wasn't clear that he was going to really let me escape. but he gave me some directions. there was someone else there who was really going to kill me if she found me--shadow weaver or catra, maybe?

have to walk to pharmacy. do not want to do this. they should deliver my medicine to me. dammit.

wearing mismatched socks--really need to do whites.

the wonders of dancing with people who are so much better at it than you are.

went dancing. no. not nasty!dancing. which. i don't like. contradancing! fiddle music. appalachian. medieval. spinning around and shit. oh with the fun-ness! i happen to live half an hour from the contradance capital of the country. danced with sev. partners who were v. v. experienced and much better at it than me. therefore, i got the good end of the deal. first partner one of those young show-offs who spin fifty extra times at the end of a step and try to do the wrong thing, like spinning me around under his hand when we're supposed to walk in a circle and shit? uhm, no. he almost threw me on the floor in this slippery spot, and had to apologize. but yeah, made up for it with the spiky hair and little snub nose.

uhm. am i appreciating the appearance of a blond?! no. surely not.

starting to get the hang of the spinning under the hand, in other news, no thanks to him.

waltzing was boring, but fast spinny dances are totally kick-ass. got about 15 comments on my "the ERA [equal rights amendment] is for my future" shirt, incl. two guys who didn't get it. ahahahahaha.
