i know everyone loves to see my im conversations and private correspondence (cim's friends list: oh, another one! don't you love it when cim proves how spectacularly boring she is?)

but, fuck it, this is MY livejournal. my beta thinks she isn't brilliant, but i'm poking her with a glittery stick down there under her salamander-rock. she IS. she IS! look at this! hee!

Japanese painting. Well, finally my brain established communications. Nice of it. The upshot of all of this mental turmoil is that the pattern-making piece of my brain insists that "What I Am To You" is EXACTLY THE SAME as traditional Japanese painting. I try to reason with it, but it stands firm. Also it keeps showing me pictures of prehistoric cave art and Egyptian tomb paintings.

I think it’s talking about archetypes and their power, emotional and otherwise. Do you know what I mean about Japanese painting? Instead of a complete landscape, you get a rock and a tree - the rest is suggested. Maybe the figure of a plaintive woman, or a scowling samurai. The viewer’s brain fills in the rest.

my beta's stories are currently on a site owned by an utter moron, a parasite in the field of trekdom. no one from trek will ever read this, so i feel safe. i am going to code them and upload them to my site and make cute little biographies and change the fonts... after work today. i feel all light-headed and floaty. SUCH a good mood. have no idea why. hee!
