read resonant's broadway hotel last night, or i should say, re-read it, because hollsk needed to be distracted from an addictive little video game and i chose randomly from the nc-17 fics on my recs list to cut and paste. only then i got sucked in, and it's just as well she was too tired, cause it's something of an emotional roller coaster, and the sex is a sidebar to the aura of desperate melancholy. but it's very very pretty. fraser made me blink a bit. i can believe him like that, but i'm unaccustomed to mentally weakening him to that extent. i think my actual point, if i can be said to have one, is that it's a fantastic story which everyone should read, because i was ruminating on it but i still haven't come up with much of anything to say.
