once upon a time i had control

didn't wake up until the alarm today, so 's a good thing i set it. kmazzy is on a plane to japan (eeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEE! babe, i ADORE you and a million kisses) and wax_jism is on a plane back to me finland (what further expressions of affection could be necessary?). you know, aim (which she pronounces like the word, 'aim,' only with a little drag on the 'm' which is. yeah. ...) will do. except for their temporary absences from chatting, i couldn't be more pleased.

apparently devon has cut wax's hair. i am not sure i approve, as was very fond of her hair before, but we'll withhold judgement until i see it.

kirk was in love with spock for the whole run of the series, but he didn't start to realize it until the end of the five-year mission. and they did NOT, thank you, have a one-night stand leading to spock's little expedition to gol: i love the well-written sex, but killa's not kidding when she says MELODRAMA.

some day i'm going to finish this story. and other people (ellen_fremedon, carribeanblue) are some day going to finish theirs too.

mail call.

what i thought was a phone bill was not, in fact. there was a lot of trash. the most significant thing was that a gorgeous brass sculpture from outside the museum where i worked last year has been damaged. also got chamomile tea in the mail from my dad, an article about japan from my grandmother, and due south tapes including bloopers from naina and creatch! i'm bouncing up and down, although of course i don't have a vcr. i'm going to try the other area slashers, and also my ex-roommate and my aunt and possibly some housemates.

also, while i was talking on the phone and fidgeting last night (these go together, naturally), i managed to lock my footlocker which no longer has a key... the friendly maintenance guy was luckily able to unfasten it for me with a pair of screwdrivers. it's so hot i'm wearing shorts.

and i discovered another slasher almost right here! fuschia lives in northampton! eee. and now i have an excuse to go there. it's quite pretty.

mouse! eee!

i saw someting dark against the baseboard so i looked over and there was a tiny little baby mouse. brown. all round and shit. really cute. like, seriously, i think it was the size of a silver dollar.

it scurried under the wardrobe. i tossed a pebble under the wardrobe (broken off of a picture frame) and a minute later, it skittered back out and into the closet.

mamahooch! i have a superman song for you! wild asparagus, folk music. and i want to read the latest powerpuff girls. dammit, be around some time.

so this icon is amata, the mouse, who is involved in a tragical long-distance relationship with hollsk's mouse balthasar. and she is nervous. just like me. the icon is in her honor, and it was mostly holls's idea. and therefore... gip. ::takes a bow::

the inside of my room (and seriously, that's almost the whole room), the dresser-like tv that's chained to the wall. and that's about it. the light is poor, so it's hard to take pictures...
