..of the sleepy, and everyone else. i took several highly uncomfortable naps in the hartford/springfield airport, but in the end i made it to birmingham, came home and had some birthday cake, and opened one late present. slept with the dog again, which was brilliant, and now he's lying under my blankets occasionally emitting cute noises. wrote sappy poetry on plane, achieved hand-calluses, bought chai in the cincinnati airport etc. going to shower, renew driver's licence, close out a savings account, fill two prescriptions and possibly purchase a tiara (or maybe i'll leave that for after i finish the essay that's due wednesday). hm. the dean can bite me, though. ::stretch:: tata.

the car lived for long enough to run essential errands, but then died when i pulled into the driveway, or actually, just before that, and started making alarming light-flashes and things like that. it ended parked diagonally, just inside the driveway but entirely blocking off the main arm of it. on the plus side, i've obtained medication, a temporary driver's licence and about $500 cash. on the minus side, still no tiara, and our family transportation is looking not-so-good for the next few days. dad's going to have to walk to mom's school to retrieve the van, get lillian from school, come home for her tae kwon do crap, and go to her lesson, and then pick mom up. it's just all going to be a headache and i'm going to hide. and in a few hours, get back on line. for now, i have some due south episodes to watch. ::curtsey::
just like that.
