don't worry, i've not been killed in a freak home-remodelling accident. i spent all morning rearranging the kitchen walls, napped, and vacuumed. and read a book. not precisely in that order. anyway, don't be surprised if i continue to vanish in this way, since we've a small bathroom to paint and a lot of hardware to install, and window shades to make, before the new year's party.

i did miss my wax all day, and then i got here and here she was! and hours of boredom! oh, the guilt. why couldn't it have been like this yesterday when i was malingering on the computer!

oh, but. i think my parents may be persuaded to get a new one. with memory, and hard drive! i can download all the lovely things like ad-aware and popup-stopper which i have on my laptop. and msn messenger. and winamp. ::bliss::!

by way (i think) of apology for a semi-quarrel, cuddlepint wrote me this rhyming poem this afternoon, and left it sealed up in an envelope for me to read when i woke up from my nap.

somebody's cool.
someon doesn't think i'm silly.
someone drives me to school.

billthepony and i were musing that there's no fps equivalent for fellow_shippers and the_shire. so we made one. this is a lord of the rings slash community. we want announcements, direct posts of new stories, everything. and we want to be as sweeping in our gathering of stories and information as possible, so please spread the word.
