absence

wednesday afternoon my dad was in an accident in south alabama. he's going to be in the hospital here for a few weeks at least. i'm not going to have the opportunity to use the internet much at all because we're staying with a friend who doesn't have it connected at home. right now i'm in his office at the university. i just about cried when i saw he doesn't have java (which means i can't use aim express). i can't get into my e-mail either because, and yes, i know this is stupid, i can't remember the password. on the off-chance that i might figure it out in the near future, hollsk, southpaw526, you can e-mail me your current phone numbers. obviously no one can call me until i tell them the phone number here. and i don't have it on me, so no posting friends-locked. wax_jism, i'm going to try to call you, but it requires my being at doug's house at an hour when you're likely to be awake as i can't call internationally from a university or a hospital or a payphone.
