hollsk hates things that suck and so do i. there are so many things i hate, however, that it's hard to keep a list. i didn't even know where to start on that list of people who can't come to my birthday party; it'd be so much faster to make a list of people who CAN come to my birthday party. side effect of social phobia, perhaps. my ideal birthday party has very few guests and several cats, and is very, very quiet.

i just literally spit water all over the computer, for the first time.

this is a will/jack that's overall well put-together, i think, but i'm not sure if it deserves a rec. it doesn't really say anything new, it doesn't contain anything exciting, it doesn't even have much tension to it, and the overall metaphor, while pretty, is overdone by my lights. the last sentence did make me smile.

Like strawberries left to ripen on the vine until they were sun-sweet and delicious, Qui-Gon's kisses tasted of all of his dreams.

so, a few things:
1. ALL his dreams taste of strawberries?
2. just a few of his dreams aren't enough for the flavor--all are necessary?
3. strawberries aren't delicious unless they've become sun-sweet on the vine?
4. is there something unusual about the taste of sweet/ripe strawberries, so that he felt the need to mention those as conditions? is it normal to eat bitter or sour strawberries? or unripe ones?
