Qui-Gon was holding Obi-Wan in his arms as they lay in bed together. His thoughts were on the beautiful creature besides him as he slept. those are the first two sentences. as you can imagine, i didn't read any further.

ahhh.

wow, i've been talking about star wars a lot. i suppose being depressed convinces me y'all don't really want to know what's going through my mind. not that i mean this impression is incorrect--just an unusual approach to lj, from me.

Do you have to create this artificially saturated space in order to deal with sexuality, or can you deal with it in the real world? Can you come out and simply say, "I have a difficult question to ask you: I'd really like to take you back and tie you up and leave small red marks just between your third and fourth vertebrae," and not to be absolutely crushed if you get the somewhat common negative response?

-samuel r. delany, one of the most brilliant writers evah.

could he be cooler? (no.)

SW: "Slash" fiction is surely the opposite extreme from the logical alien.

SD: Yes -- Kirk-slash-Spock fiction, written by fans of Star Trek, is usually gay pornography in which Kirk and Spock and other members of the Enterprise crew get it on.

but no. that's the entire point. slash is not the 'opposite extreme' for spock. being logical and being sexual are not mutually exclusive; and spock, while he presents himself without emotion, is canonically not really free of it. that's the whole POINT. auurgh.

from november q magazine, and a fansite via [livejournal.com profile] stenaline, who posted to [livejournal.com profile] sparkly_girls. absolutely riveting. after pink and christina aguilera, she's working with courtney love and gwen stefani. that's not the amazing part, though.

got a broken diva? drag her to hitmaker Linda Perry, who fixed it for P!nk, Christina Aguilera and now Courtney Love. She'll throw in the strip shows for free. )

this one to qui-gon (who, btw, is fully adult already):

"Eat, you should, Padawan. Grow big, you won't otherwise."

who is going to be glimmer (from she-ra). (we're making the indigo-bluish areas purple, and the magenta areas a sort of pinker hot magenta than in that image.) this is the first costume i have made for her since i made her a christina aguilera costume (from the what a girl wants video. i put all those brass rivets on a fake suede jacket i sewed myself--three and four rows all around. hours of work, which really hurt my hands) and then she didn't wear it trick-or-treating. the idea for this one came because she had bought a pale pink wig. well, i think she is going to wear it, and it's not as much work; we bought tights, boots, and a leotard, and the rest is largely dyeing the tights purple, spray-painting the boots pink, and hot-gluing felt and plastic jewels to make the accessories/trim the leotard.

she's going to be really cute.

a t-shirt and a child from hell. a humorous story, but not an invalid suggestion for how the movie ought to've ended.

ahhaahahhahahaha. raise your hand if this is an awkward (/amusing) sentence.

The smile he was then offered filled Qui-Gon's heart just as fully as Obi-Wan's penis had filled his throat.

don't hold it against the story, though. it makes qui and obi age mates and is pretty interesting. i'm gonna rec it.

mmm chocolate-covered donuts.
