can't get no satisfaction

sadly, i can't find anything to read in my bookmarks that i haven't read yet and that's short enough for my midnight-level attention span. i read the last good omens fic i had bookmarked. nothing to write home about.

remember i was wearing a metal ring the other day? i was all excited that it wasn't going to give me an allergic reaction. then today the reaction appeared. the itch is on the verge of pain. i had to wrap a harry potter bandaid around my ring finger (from a distance it rather looks like a ring). but why would it wait three or four days before working? and then still show up in the proper place? maybe i did it today, but today i wasn't wearing a ring.

hum. this is actually a rather bad harry/snape. well, i mean--badly-characterized. obviously it could be much worse. and i have rec'd things which were overall empirically worse. besides which it's rather unusual, so i think that i will rec it.

so i had decaf fake sugary coffee for breakfast. grandpa let perry out a bit but he didn't run away, just trotted out to use the bathroom and waited for me to put the leash on. i'm thinking i'll take him for a walk now, i guess.

j&t didn't put me on their car rental thing so i can't take turns driving with them on the way back. we're likely going to be in the car more than sixteen hours. taum's preferred speed on the interstate is well over 80 mph. ::facepalm:: i get sick if i read, write, or draw in the car.
