soooooo i read this story today, and at the time it resulted mainly in incredulous giggles, but now the full horror is dawning on me: this wacked characterization of sir ian (as a sort of sex-drunken magneto playboy... weird... evil... thing) is so ridiculous and, like, ridiculous horrifying amusing i don't even know what that it's probably going to leap to mind whenever i think of ian. and that's so wrong because this story is so bad, and ian is... so cool! ::sob::

p.s.: ::kills .txt attachments in e-mail that result in horrible zigzag lines dead::

i feel like i'm scraping mineral crusts off a gem. this is so exhausting! i've taken hours and only gone through six pages of it, and the file looks half red! this story is beating me up!

but it's a good story. that's my consolation.

you know, i must be in a really fragile mood, because when i discovered from the liner notes a bit ago that there are later adventures (hardwicke ones!) not in the return of sherlock holmes set i was at first deeply distressed. ('the golden pince-nez,' for one.) i'll have to re-read the thing.

my god, i'm sleepy.

1. look! bertie wooster had a prototype!

2. having read thank you, jeeves in one giant orgiastic gulp today i was left thirsting for more and looked online for the complete works. with the bibliography i discovered there are seven volumes i have and seven i haven't, plus one omnibus that's made out of three volumes i have plus two short stories available nowhere else. so i caved and ordered four more novels because i found them cheap ($2 for one; and $4 for an omnibus containing the other three).

3. so therefore, NEW JEEVES/WOOSTER SOON YAY.

omg watson's little nightshirt. a;sdlkjf.

the more i watch this the more i fall in love with hardwicke's watson and the more i sympathize with holmes's obvious helplessly deep adoration for him. you just can't help it, can you? auuuuugh it's so! ! ...what is a synonym for 'precious' that sounds less stupid? i want to write from holmes's pov to explore it.

it's a turnbull story, gen. two trucks, a cop, and a baby.
