who's iain glen? and tim roth, who's that?

you know, gary oldman was cute as a youngster. rosencrantz, that is. i'm still not pleased with him as sirius.

but wow. i want that movie.

oh, i got my assignment for that remix thingy. (where's my link? i have no idea where my link is. it's called remix/redux; you can google if you want.)

i'm excited. but i haven't actually started, you know, doing anything yet.

and i was thinking about my original novel today and i had a revelation. part of what i love about the myth of persephone and hades is my personal conviction that he knew her as she was growing up, like in diana wynne jones's fire and hemlock, which i also adore for that reason. i find that factor, because it's so strange, to be sort of... magic-making, mystical.

we've got a target ad here, from the newspaper, and it has a big slogan:

PRICES SO LOW
YOU'LL NEED ANOTHER CART

doesn't that strike anyone else as a painfully bad slogan? i mean. you think it's going somewhere and then it... doesn't. maybe that was on purpose. >.>
