perhael and i have been discussing how incredibly dysfunctional and clueless our gary and tim are, in light of the fact that our wip has reached 37 pages, and neither one of them, despite fifteen years of in loooooooooveness, has even come within a stone's throw of realising he's in looooooooove (i use the extra os with reason.  you'll understand when you read this story, hahah).  i had her in stitches with this:

wax just had a conversation with herself.

it went like this.

"i smell cat poop.  oh, god, lily, why do you have to do this to me?  i can't help it! my bowels have to move, or i will die!"  ...you really need to see the facial expression too.

she's been watching numb3rs for two days and is becoming progressively weirder.  i blame viggorlijah.

i actually started to type up the whole handout. i was going to translate it too but i got bored and stopped halfway through the swedish.

suffice it to say that on top of being badly-written, it features a coffee date conversation between a man and a woman, where they keep telling us what they think AND what they say. they're saying things like, "coffee keeps getting more expensive", "actually it got a little cheaper lately but you know it'll go up again!", "i use an electric brewer", "they make the best coffee! they can be a little dangerous though!"

and they're thinking things like, "he's so fun and easy to talk to" and "he's probably not interested" and "if only i dared kiss him" and "how could he be interested in little old ME?"

...possibly the fact that this reminds me of the wip isn't a good thing.

it's randwise_gamgee's birthday and he seems to feel it's going to suck, but it's too bad it couldn't be a happy one because it definitely SHOULD be.
