a brief scheduled absence

well, so, last night i went to bed at about 3 am, filled with inspiration for writing but unable to keep my eyes open any longer. "that's okay," i said, "i'll just write in the morning." i woke up early, but writing didn't happen! before i even got out of the house, our flat was full of extended family. there was some wholesome togetherness and consuming sushi and then HELL. ( shopping hell. )

so now we're leaving tomorrow at lunch for the wedding, coming back saturday night just in time to download doctor who, probably. victors, it would displease me if i don't finish this [apparently] never-ending band of princes fic before then.
