We totally know that there's bunches of non-Finnish-speaking immigrants working around here, but the lady at the temp agency is all "No, I don't think there's any possibility of work." Do they just go to a different temp agency like I suggested (or no temp agency at all, but wax scoffed at that idea) or was she being a bitch because I seemed young and tentative, and don't know how to assertively boss people around, like wax says, although she can't tell me what I should have said because she's "just as much of a pussy" herself. I remember my mom saying she always put on a suit when she needed people to do what she wanted, but I don't have one, and am fit only for unskilled labour anyway more or less. I could hardly lie about speaking Finnish since I was obliged to talk English to her. Also, I'm feeling angry at her manner, but that could just be that Finnish culture barrier and utter lack of superficial courtesy again, who knows?
