disappointing pagan holidays
19 Jun 2008 01:52 pmWax is working on Midsummer's Eve this weekend. I'm upset that she didn't get it off because Midsummer at Ängisbacka was one of the highlights of my year last year. At least I'd better get some Rekorderlig cider and wine out of this deal.
Thirteen hours of sleep was highly necessary after my two days of getting up early followed by 8 hours out and about yesterday. Unfortunately, I'm sort of starving now and we don't have much to eat that doesn't require cooking first. I read a story recently where the protagonist eats "nothing but tea and pain au chocolat for breakfast every day". Hey, give ME pain au chocolat for breakfast! I'd even be happy with a couple of croissants without the chocolate bit, I'm pretty sure. That sounds divine. Why can't I have my own personal baker?
