We've got a bunch of those big clear storage bins and every time I'm getting ready to go to Ikea or the hardware store I carefully make a list of how many I think I need, then add one or two more to it, and every time within a week or so I find two more bins' worth of stuff with nowhere to go. The library is in danger of developing a wall of stacked bins in addition to the wall of built-in cabinets and the bins on top of the bookcase.
Are storage bins habit-forming, or is this one of those iron laws of the universe, like always forgetting one thing that you meant to put on the shopping list?
