Date: 25 May 2006 03:16 am (UTC)But the best part has to be the matches. I love it when writers keep the tennis theme because in TezuRyo it just can't be ignored. And you did it so well too, the way they know each other better through tennis, how they spend time together in the court. I don't think someone like Tezuka or Ryoma could get to know someone any other way. I love Inui too, I just love how he pesters Tezuka. And then he gives him the math book. Oh, Inui!
Funniest scene: Kikumaru worrying over murders and Fuji appearing out of nowhere. How I love thee!

Date: 25 May 2006 06:33 pm (UTC)as for the tennis matches, this part of your feedback really means the most to me, since i find them sort of agonising to write and i hate doing it. unfortunately, you're right that tennis is so intrinsic to their relationship - you certainly can't get away with no tennis at all, and actually consummating their love (*cough* - symbolically, of course) on the tennis court is practically necessary when they're still so close to canon.
ps. fuji appearing out of nowhere is my favourite scene too. :)
