IPOD DEATH?

I've been trying unsuccessfully to make my ipod work again for about three hours.

I know it's like, four years old, but this would be a really sucky time for it to break, man.

RIP Delilah? If wax_jism has any money, I'll try taking her to the Apple store, but my hopes aren't high, because she's been "corrupted" and restore has already failed three times.

My Bethany had been dead for months, each time I tried to charge her or turn her on I'd get the unhappy ipod support screen, and then just as we were about to recycle her I plugged her in and she came back to life. I have no idea how or why, and I'd already replaced her, so here's hoping you just need to let the batteries drain all the way and recharge her.

I highly recommend Apple's iPod troubleshooting guides, as they rescued mine from certain death a few years ago (linky). Here's hoping yours resurrects in time to save you from trans-Atlantic boredom :(

Nope, the site has failed utterly to do anything except remind me to clean my temp folder and uninstall some of my systray apps, and the exact error message I get is unheard of there as well! Hopefully they can decode it at the Apple store. Or if all else fails maybe it will work after the batteries have drained and recharged. Graaah.
