A crypt in the graveyard I walked through this morning because it turned out my shrink appointment was tomorrow and I had a ½ hour to kill.

In 1969 my family went on a trip to Ireland, touring around looking at places my grandmother had lived (in my father's case) and Celtic churches and crosses (in my mother's case). I was 12. As was their habit, my parents planned for us to picnic most days, and the only places there were trees to picnic under were the graveyards -- every other tree had been cut down centuries ago.

Ireland: where you picnic in the graveyards. Some people are really bothered by graveyards, but not me.

Cim has been to the house I grew up in, a 150 year old church surrounded by an old graveyard. I used to play in it all the time when I was a kid.
