These are my current four desktops that I spent like five hours arranging the other day. If you're sneaky you can catch a glimpse of a recent portion of the werewolf epic... or, okay, now that I've told you that, it doesn't require much sneakiness, does it? That document behind it with "pon farr" in the title is totally the chatfic outline for a porny Frank/Gerard ficlet I started writing last night. I'm killing time while I wait for my hair to dry so I can go to the grocery store; otherwise I'd be writing.

Not so appealing to vampires, pretty great if you're a werewolf.

I figure it's probably something like when my cat walks up and breathes in my face, only times ten.

Weird thing is, it's kind of endearing when it's Roland.

But werewolves have a magically powerful sense of smell, so smelling things isn't really like it is for us. And also, they mostly eat expensive human food while they're living in the castle.

Pon farr. yesplz. I have to say that one thing that I love - am embarrassed to love, but still really do - in sci-fi fandoms that we don't get in bandom is the "shag or die" cliche. There are ten bazillion "oh noes!! Aliens are for some reason making the Doctor and Rose have sex! Or there's like deadly sex pollen or something!! They just have to do it or else, okay?" fics in Doctor Who fandom! I want one for MCR, dadgummit!

It's really a pon farr cliché and all those other fandoms are just copying my OTP. Happily, Gerard is also a TOS geek, so I won't even be forced to call it the wrong thing.
