I leave this music because for once, random shuffle's choice is weirdly appropriate for this post: I mean, once I've written, technically, more than a novel's worth of Ray/Bob (like 56000 words although granted 20000 of that hasn't been posted yet), shouldn't my Ray/Bob karma have gone up? And shouldn't the universe repay me with some more Ray/Bob by other people? Seriously, I don't really care what it is. I'm not picky about that right now. I just want more of it. I've read every scrap of badfic. I would be grateful for more badfic. Come ON, universe, okay? And I have to write Frank/Gerard sometimes, too. I can't do both simultaneously, you know? Or else I totally would write some more right away, because I'm totally at the stage of settling for writing it myself.

Dude. DUDE. I haven't commented to your epic yet (tab is still open on the computer at home) but I was wondering if maybe you would consider posting it to plainlovely which is my Ray/Bob comm and sadly lacking in anything remotely resembling participation!

I actually really want to write some... It's just been 5 years since I last wrote a finished fic and I'm now so intimidated by all the brilliant writers in this fandom that I'm kind of anxious about posting anything. :/

Well, here are a few things to consider:

1. Bob/Ray will get fewer readers than any mainstream pairings because people don't care enough about it. So that might make you less anxious.
2. The people who do read it are already more invested in the pairing, generally, so they will appreciate your efforts regardless. (I WILL, ANYWAY.)
3. You really shouldn't be that anxious about posting in general though! Because:

a. You can't get back in practise without practising!
b. There is always someone worse than you out there, even if you, like, are typing with your eyes closed in a language you barely speak.
c. Fandom's pretty easy-going and the reaction to contributions are generally positive. And you're always bound to make someone happy with it, you know?

Heeee. At least you have a good excuse! Other people keep saying they would, or they want to, or they were totally planning to, and then they go and write other despicably OTP-BREAKING pairings instead!
