Five Little Pigs was filmed in 2003, so we're getting to the current cast of usual suspects in terms of Hey It's One of Those Guys. And this was a Those Guys-studded production. It was also studded with cuteness. Okay, to start with, there's

Talulah Riley, my new favourite little-known actress, who will be in that new St. Trinian's movie and was also in an episode of Miss Marple.

Also

Toby Stephens and Marc Warren, both instantly recognisable of course. (Toby Stephens' mom, Dame Maggie Smith, coincidentally starred in the non-Suchet bigscreen version of a Poirot mystery, Death on the Nile).

Next was this guy -

Aiden (Wax says with an 'e' but IMDb says with an 'a') Gillen, who's cute and Irish and was in QAF UK. Then

...two people whom I thought I recognised, but I haven't actually seen them in anything. In the first case, Julie Cox, I'm not sure why, but in the second it's because she looks a hell of a lot like Rose Byrne (Troy, Attack of the Clones). It's not her, though - it's Rachael Stirling.

Finally there's this stunning girl who looks like Gwen Stefani, Aimee Mullins. I knew at once I hadn't seen her because she only has 4 screen credits, but I was surprised to see her in a whole host of talk shows, and named one of People's most beautiful people as well. So I clicked on "Trivia" and discovered that she's a paraplegic and double-amputee (both legs below the knee, which you couldn't tell at all in the movie) and world-record-setting Paralympic Athlete who competed against able-bodied peeps in track and field while in college. Surprise trivia! Also, she's wearing a really cool dress in the scene with the gun.

Rachael Stirling is the lead in Tipping the Velvet! Which you should really see if you like OTT dramatic musicals about cross-dressing lesbians and BETRAYAL.

Well, I have a certain lesbian loyalty, but I don't think that I like ott dramatic musicals, or cross-dressing, or BETRAYAL, so perhaps it's just as well I haven't got around to it.

I heart Aidan Gillen. I just do. Although probably not as much as I heart Marc Warren, who is the awesomest of awesomes.

(And yes, it's Aidan with an 'a'.)

oh hey! aimee mullins! she's totally in cremaster 3, which is the only one i've seen anything of, and plays this totally amazing--leopard-woman. the way the costuming took into account her prosthetics was totally cool. (very, very bizarre movie, but i still wish the powers that would be would actually put all of the cremaster cycle into a dvd set or something.)
