cimorene: Couselor Deanna Troi in a listening pose as she gazes into the camera (tell me more)

Okay, even though I hate leggings, I've always loved Lindsay Lohan, ever since The Parent Trap. The high point of her career was Freaky Friday from my point of view, but I've watched most of her godawful teen movies just for her. A Praire Home Companion recently was an astounding relief, being actually good. I even have her pop album. I even like some of it.

But I never suspected her of actually being lesbian! She confirmed it on LoveLine recently (there's not much to read: she and her gf, British dj Sam Ronson, called in and the host asked how long they'd been dating, and she said "For a very long time" - there, now you don't have to go to ONTD or Google)!

I don't know how it feels for everyone else, but for me, it means a lot every time new celebrities that I recognise come out of the closet, even though I'm not in the closet. George Takei was pretty huge for me, but lesbians mean slightly more, and having been a fan of LL since before I realised about myself that I was gay - this feels bigger to me, and just really awesome. I hope those crazy kids are happy.

I, too, hate leggings but love Freaky Friday. They're such a cute couple! <3

Someone else who loves Freaky Friday?! Wanna come over and watch it sometime? It's so tiring having Wax mock and tolerate me when I watch that kind of thing! And yeah: they're really charming in those pictures! I don't regret braving ONTD even though, as usual, I was pissed off by superficial comments on their weight and appearance...

Sure, I'd love to! :D

I only ever read ONTD when bored at work.

I don't browse it, but I go there when there's some bit of celebrity news that I want to find out about: it's usually there. But it requires paging back to find it...

And: cool, then I guess it's mostly up to your schedule - except that I'm probably babysitting tomorrow evening and after that Wax will be working the morning shift and that means going to bed early for three days, at like, 5-8 pm. Maybe next week sometime?

N'awww. I had no idea who she was, but it always makes me happy to see young out people in love.

Oh, I adored The Parent Trap, her version and the Hayley Mills one. Strangely enough, I have never seen Freaky Friday, though I loved the book to death and read it many times. Body swap: an early interest.

PS. You should see FF - LL and Jamie Lee Curtis are both stellar, and admittedly, the teen romance part isn't as well done - Chad Michael Murray isn't a great actor - but most of the story is mother-daughter anyway.

I love them and how adorable they are together. Not a LL fan- She was doing some self destructive behaviors that my sister was doing at the ssame time- but I certainly don't mind her, and I think that it's wonderful that she's in love.

Though I have to say that she does garner some awesome points for her blog post being the only one that made sense at the time Palin was revealed. Only one that made sense (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080902/ap_en_tv/people_lindsay_lohan) at the time. which garners her, as said, MAJOR awesome points.

(all that aside, I did watch the recent freaky friday more times than I'd like to admit. )

I've known a lot of people, some close to me, who have struggled with self-destructive partying and addiction. It's not something I've faced personally and I do find it scary and kind of off-putting, but while it saddens me I don't hold it against the people in question. And I've heard that she may be doing better recently.

I know, which really gives me hope. :) I've been giving her a second chance, I just didn't feel comfortable with things when she was partying so hard. Really it seems her girlfriend was the best thing that ever happened to her!

I'm not really a fan of LL, but when I started seeing the pics of her and Sam together, I was kinda hoping they would last - I think they're cute together.

Being gay seems to be bringing some color back into Lohan's cheeks. I approve. She used to be so curvy and hot. Let's hope she keeps getting healthier.

Yes, yes, yes! I agree with this post so much - I just found out yesterday and i was like Image and then Image all day. I love her shamelessly, and I love her openness to being just who she is, sexuality included. And it looks like Sam's been really good for her.
