packages have been mailed for you, my dear, and you, my ruffled kitten.

naina, i realized i don't know how many tapes i owe you, which stopped my efforts to package them up and send them. one? two? three? i'd send you the whole package, but these are my mom's tapes we're discussing here and not mine, so. where have you been, anyway?

a nice little old gentleman at the post office picked up my packing slip when i dropped it, and when she saw the customs form for wax's package the postal clerk said, "oh, collectible stones? where did you get them?" and was overall very pleasant. of course i wrote "stones" because i'm not positive, but there may be some sort of law about where one can mail native fossils. i mean, i know you can mail them, but perhaps they have to be insured or something, so i sidestepped the issue. she was very nice, though, and she had the cutest little glamour girl hairdo.
