In her Tiny but Precocious phase, my sister adopted the phrases "It's Not Okay", "I Don't Like This", and "It's a Policy" for lending extra weight to her pronouncements (ie no, Bathtime is Not Okay, or no, I Don't Like Going to School On Time, or No Tickling, It's a Policy). I've found myself busting out with them lately, like the Age 12 memorybank has been opened up or something.
That Is Not Okay has made many appearances at work already amongst children who talk at storytime, throw toys, hit, jump off the furniture onto poured-cement floors (you can tell they just think you're mean, but I don't think I'd really better go into the Crack Your Head Open Like a Watermelon speech until at least age 6 or 7?), and put dirty, disgusting shit in their mouths (again, not so much with the understanding The Spreading of Germs).
My new goal is to teach "Yo, Sup" as a form of greeting along with the Vulcan hand sign _\\// With Wax's help, I've already started on the triplets.
