sneakers of the day
7 Mar 2009 06:22 pmSimple shoes is a company making vegan and "eco-friendly" shoes (not all their products are vegan, only some of them; they do have a number of silk, cotton, and hemp-upper products, though). They are cute now, although their inaugural style back in the 90s (anyone else remember the clogs with the rainbow braid trim?) was pretty fugly. Presumably, however, they are comfortable as well as expensive. Green products and fair trade products, of course, always are a bit expensive.
Here are two pairs of t-straps named "Caramel" and "Mistletoe". I have to admit, I find the mutated espadrille styling of the rope sole trim on the bottom pair (and the others in that line) a little strange, but not actually unattractive.

Date: 8 Mar 2009 11:27 pm (UTC)My friending policy is very open! Come or go as you please. (By which I mean, of course I do not mind.) I definitely agree about wanting to surround myself with people who share similar concerns. I've gotten to the point where I'm starting to carefully read journals before friending, because shared fandoms is no longer a good indicator (and probably never has been when certain topics about which I am very passionate come up) for actual compatibility.
