am trying to prepare myself for an entire afternoon spent at bev and dave's communing with the plumbing. i've got chocolate and tea; jeans, a sweater, and slippers (already there); the monty python dvds i borrowed last week; and i know there's something else, other than the computer. i've got a book over there. the cat is there. there's food there, i think. well, soup, frozen pizza, applesauce, macaroni and cheese--anyway, i won't starve. i'll be able to read, write, listen to music, watch movies. dammit, what am i forgetting? auuughh!
