cimorene: cartoony drawing of a woman's head in profile giving dubious side-eye (sad)

i still itch all over. the movie started nearly half an hour late and the grass hadn't been mowed for a few months. the sound was fully functional. if we'd wanted to sit across the field and the parking lot upstairs in the building there and watch through the window, we'd have had no problem hearing, although i understand that as it was my mother wasn't able to see very well. which was a damned shame, because the art is by brian froud, for the most part, and definitely the most worthwhile part of the movie. i have to admit to a certain fondness for kira.

maybe i'll feel better up to an actual review by tomorrow, when i'm plumber-wrestling. right now i'm still sort of a seething mass of irritation. and my face itches, not to mention my neck and my legs and my arms and shoulders. it's psychological, i'm pretty sure. but it's still itchy. and oh!

this just in. --star trek ii: the wrath of khan was on tv and i got in there just in time for spock's death, otherwise known as The Second Slashiest Scene in All of Trek. ahhhhhhhhh, yes. jim and spock. SOinlove. ::wallows::

there's nothing like a otp to revive one's spirits. oh, they're so so sweet! squee.
