Yesterday, in a shoe shop, I saw dreamwidth boots! I almost bought a pair, and if they'd come in purple, I'd have been a goner.

There is the swirl, all right! The sculpting does not appeal to me, however.

Yes, I was so excited about the swirl I didn't worry much about the rest of the shoe. Oh for the day we have a choice of shoes with swirls.
