  1. Warning: Mentions of (real life) natural disaster, therefore some mentioning of deaths etc
    Word Count: 1000
Beta: NONE - sorry for any/all mistakes!!
Summary/Author's Notes: It was the worst disaster they had seen in over thirty years.
This was written for the Queensland flooding that's occuring, inspired by a picture in the newspaper from yesterday (posted at end of fic). All facts are true (as of yesterday) and please, take a moment to check out the links and donate at the end. xx

  2. Warnings: Heteronormative seme/uke dynamic [I've been wanting people to warn for this for years!]

  3. Summary: Love heals all ills. Well, actually, people used to think that was laughter. People used to think that laughter was the best medicine, but you can't synthesize it. You can't harvest it despite what Monsters Inc says. It was only a matter of time before someone thought of a way to harvest and sell love as a medicine.

  4. Warnings: You know it's just the usual... Angst and drama. It's just the way I roll

  5. Summary: Adam is a rich man, He enjoys spending his hard earned money on cute men he finds at bars. He loves to give them anything they want. Anything...But only for one night. Then the next night, He's over you and moves on to the next boy he wants to spoil rotten. But not when he comes across a very interesting slightly shorter man.

How is there seriously anyone in any fandom who still thinks a fic like #1 is a good idea after the epic explosion over that one idiot's J2 Haiti fic? I mean, even assuming they were fail-ridden enough to want to write fic about ongoing disasters in the first place.

And oh my god, it is always the SPN fandom. They might not yet have toppled LotR and HP for the sheer batshit wankery title, but by Christ they've left everyone else in the dust in the jaw-dropping douchebaggery footrace.

Oh, I was totally predicting. It just happened to be funny, in a HERE COME THE KING BATS! way.

The question is, does the Queensland story contain the proper amount of racefail? Is there a magical aborigine who rescues them AND makes sure they get together?

Sadly, she's locked the story post, so we can't know. And besides that, it would mean actually reading the story.

I know! My first thought on reading #1 was But... didn't we just do this? Because... didn't we?

Love heals all ills.

I believe the Manic Street Preachers said it best: your love alone is not enough, not enough, not enough.
