25 Dec 2012 07:58 pmHere's some foods I wish would magically appear in front of me, and which I will therefore have to force myself to get around to making soon, hopefully during this Christmas break. Or, okay, maybe January. We couldn't eat all that in a week anyway.
I like food but I don't really enjoy making anything except desserts. But still, if it's the only way...
I saw a post on Tumblr about making mini-quiches in a silicone muffin tray and I've been dying to try it out.
I also want to teach myself to make Chinese dumplings, but I am generally too lazy for foods with multiple steps, like where you have to make a dough separately before you can start. And you can't buy dumpling skins in our store. Maybe in the big ones.

- chicken pot pie
- mushroom and spinach mini-quiches
- hummus and falafel sandwiches
- multi-cheese macaroni and cheese with breadcrumbs
- mini eggrolls or else pan-browned dumplings
- tabbouleh salad
- something with artichoke hearts, but I haven't decided what yet
