I have a shoe-related problem. You see so many pretty shoes, I was wondering if you have any ideas. I have this really cute, surprisingly comfortable pair of heels. They're black on the toes, brown on the heels, and beige with a faint scale pattern in the middle. They are cut away on both sides, but the middle (on top of my foot) is laced, so the whole effect is sort of a maryjane sandal with heels, or maybe a fabulous bowling shoe. What style of dress goes with this?

Hmm, I'd say funky and slightly retro, like the kind of stuff at Modcloth.com (http://www.modcloth.com/style-gallery/featured ). Shirt dresses or things with Peter Pan or Oxford collars or buttons in the front, slightly flared or pleated skirts... things that seem to reference the 1930s-1950s.
