I tend to write songs into my stories, whether one of the characters (usually Tom) sings it, or as in this case, when I use the lyrics to bridge each scene (so you can skip them if you don't like it), or, more correctly, be inspired by songs to write stories. And I don't care what's said about my writing, but I do ask for respect in differing tastes in music.
