Sailor Jentle Seasons Souten ink in Shaeffer Pop Star Wars R2-D2 M nib fountain pen (I needed the perfect blue for my R2-D2 pen and this is it!). Temporarily using Clairefontaine paper because I’m out of Tomoe River paper.


A beautiful cerulean summer sky blue with breathtaking shading and wonderful penfeel and performance. I’m going to work on slimming down the number of pens that I keep inked up perpetually, but this is always going to be one of them.

It does look very like Kon-Peki in that writing sample!

That's good, because the shops that sell ink samples in the UK have been out of it for more than four months now! I first went looking for a sample before I'd even heard of Souten, which was much easier to snag.
