have been making icons, playing with stamps and things i downloaded. am getting tired of 4-sides-symmetrical borders (well, look at my default icon), trying to do other things. my eyes itch and burn. it's possible that i should go to sleep.

our dining room is going to be like a fifties cartoon of french country in brilliant yellow and green with white wood and my mom's collections of antique teacups and non-antique tea pots and many and varied plates all on display. it's going to be utterly spiff because of said colors, which are just very vivid and satisfying to look at. i think it's odd mom never did really any house painting to speak of before i came along (well, and reached age, oh, 9). she relies on me for color sense. she's the artist.
