cimoreneWhen Snookums was a young [kitty]man he used to keep me company through my whole getting-ready-to-leave routine. He'd be sitting on my knees when I was saying "I have to put on my shoes!" He doesn't necessarily want to wait around that long anymore though. He tends to go back to sleep in the bed, instead of napping on the sofa or on my lap, although every now and then he'll stick around through breakfast to lick my yogurt bowl before going back upstairs.
But Tristana has no shortage of energy. She usually spends the morning zooming around the house, careening off the walls and playing with anything she can bat across the floor, and she frequently makes time to sit on my lap waiting for a chance at the yogurt bowl. (If Snookums is there she has to share, and every now and then she goes back to sleep instead, but she's usually there and alone.)
