I found a "chromatic kitchen" the other day. And heads lull in this fandom. A LOT.

Chromatic kitchen, though. That's memorable and unique. I feel like I may say that now when I see colorful ones. Although it sort of seems to imply it's a kitchen with multiple non-white people in it actually...

I think they meant it had a lot of chrome appliances. Delightful!

Yeah, and actually, there isn't a common word for that! Of course it's so rare now - stainless is the norm, usually brushed. But midcentury appliances still exist, of course. People probably called them "all-chrome" or "with chrome" or whatever, but that is rather charming.

I am finding this whole fandom charming in an "awww, look at the babies" BOFQ kind of way. I squidge their cheeks!

I'm sorta feeling that too with Stranger Things. Except maybe with a little more "WHYYYYYY" when it comes to failing to get American pickers and basic googleable knowledge about the 1980s...
