cimorene: two men in light linen three-piece suits and straw hats peering over a wrought iron railing (sun)

This is the first time I've forgotten my phone anywhere in YEARS, because I had to take home two extra bags of stuff, and I had to pack my work phone into one of them first, and I also had to put on snow pants in addition to my usual outer gear today because it's -8° C (18° F) (feels like -15 [5° F] thanks to Siberian winds).

(On the way home I successfully mailed my family their yearly holiday box of chocolate, which is costing more to send every year, but at least it didn't cost as much as the last thing they sent to me. ... ARE there any really good quality North American gourmet chocolate brands that are guaranteed slavery free? I don't even know if it would be possible to send them an equivalent present from inside the US.)

Anyway. The last time I forgot my phone somewhere I didn't even have a find-my-phone thingymabob activated on it! But Samsung has it as part of the Samsung account, without doing anything else. So even though I keep location services turned off on my phone most of the time, I was able to google for the address, sign in and instantly see a little map confirming that my phone is at the office (in "offline" mode). Pretty sure it's on my desk, in fact. (It is still worthwhile turning off location, because at least that way the apps don't see it.

So we have to pick up a package that got redirected from the R-kiosk by my work to the supermarket on the other side of the canal, and we'll drop by the office so I can get it, since I have to go to Turku tomorrow for a meeting.

Tony's is available widely here in the US (it's at Target as well as grocery stores). I bet you could order it to be shipped from within the US and save on postage. If you're not familiar with Tony's, the bars are huge and heavy so at $6 a bar you are getting 5 servings of chocolate and they have a big variety.
