I finished the sleeves of my black Aran cardigan at long last... and I've now picked up stitches for the button band all the way around three separate times.

The whole opening is nearly 150 cm, and one of the needles has a flaw where it attaches to the cable that keeps catching on the yarn so it won't slide.

I guess it could be worse. The purple curséd hoodie sweater, which I finally finished without a hood, has several significant problems with the fit, the buttons, and the neckline where the hood was removed, and I've determined I'm going to have to frog it and use the yarn for something else again, which will make the third complete sweater for that yarn.

I think the little delays, or delays compared to when you expected something pleasant anyway, seem to get more and more frustrating the closer you get! I can almost taste it now. I've made the buttonholes!
