why do i keep getting assaulted by plot bunnies that make NO sense, and which no one would want to read? middlemarch (george eliot) slash? hamlet slash? and now, drumroll please, frankenstein slash? WTF? give me a BREAK. the fucking thing's already half written itself in my head and i've only read 18 pp of the assigned 125. furthermore, i'm in the middle of my fal torr pann story! *whimper*

there's already the obsession with his mother's sex life because marrying your dead husband's brother is considered incest. not to mention Ophelia going nuts ("get thee to a nunnery" and all that.) hasn't Will Shakespeare already dealt with the freaky sexual aspects of this story well enough?

did I mention that we stayed up watching Shakespeare In Love the other night? and that Tom Stoppard is the coolest man on earth?

stoppard TOTALLY is. read his existentialist novel, lord something-something. ahem. yeahk, he's dealt a lot with the sexual aspects of it, but i can see hamlet/horatio.
