me: if i had a girlfriend, i would want to be with her on christmas eve and not go to church. oh, wait. i DO have a girlfriend!
lillian: what do you mean?
me: wax is my girlfriend. i told you this before.
lillian: ...what do you mean?
me: ...she's really my girlfriend.
lillian: you mean like david and blake [cute gay boys]?
me: yes.
lillian: COOL! so because you had a boyfriend once and now you have a girlfriend does that mean you're bisexual?
me: yes.
lillian: COOL!

hee hee. i invented 'cuddlecort' (spelling mine) for me when i was six, and no one knows whether the pun with 'quart' was intentional, but then dad combined that with laura ingalls wilder's 'half pint of milk half drunk up' and got 'cuddlepint' for lilly, as the smaller of us.

and i'm sure she wouldn't mind being shared. ;)
