especially since i can't write the next remus-chapter of thing until i read the sirius one wax hasn't written.

daddy keeps pressuring me about the novel. the more he mentions it, the more inclined i am to write nothing but snippets of fanfiction. legolas/gimli leads the pack right now. and my k'salamander hasn't answered my last email. er, unless i didn't answer hers? i *think* i did.

azimuth reminds me a lot of miss sunbeam (if you don't do [real, not voy] star trek slash, you're expected not to know who that is). this is a compliment of the highest order, i think. i miss other people too--is it enough to make me brave the wilds of ascem? probably not. maybe i'll make a 'which asceml queen are you?' quiz. [edit: OOOOOH, or maybe i'll make a new layout for the recs page and the text index of my website.]

it's a compliment of the highest order, i assure you! hm. her total title is The Enigmatic Big Miss Sunbeam, and she's delightful. she's got a fascinating inimitable fiction style* (i've never read any of your fic, so i can't compare there. just your manner, i mean). my beloved beta, k'sal, described her succinctly as 'wittily urbane.'

*she's quite famous in TNG for a, hm, novel-length everypairingimaginable (but ultimately P/Q) prison AU which gathered about fifteen golden orgasms, and nearly as much so in TOS for 'reclaiming classic k/s' (in the words of--judith gran, i think). this (http://www.angelfire.com/zine/trek/storypg.html) is her story page, which has only the tng stuff; all her tos stories, as far as i know, are buried in the yahoo list archives of ASCEML.

by the way, you are completely right--have tried slogging through BTF domlijah section, and OH. MY. GOD. it is, like, beyond horrible. eyes. bleeding. if i read one more damn story where elijah yells tearfully at some PR person with some name like "tiffany crystal" about his Great Love for Dom and then walks proudly down the red carpet smooching with Dom and holding hands to symbolize their Support For Each Other, i may just attack something with a grapefruit spoon.

if they later get "life-bonded" in a special ceremony presided over by ian mckellen, i may turn the grapefruit spoon on myself.
