mommy finished the blinds last night--without me. i guess that leaves the bathroom, although she was talking about rearranging the shelves (which is to say, all the shelves in the whole house which aren't bookshelves--to give you an idea, i'm sure if we wanted to empty all of them their contents, they'd fill ten or fifteen cardboard cartons. if we included books we could fill a room. ::looks around:: like, to the ceiling). but yes, i'm more eager for the painting, medicine chest and mirror or not. oh dear, there's still wiring to be done too, isn't there? but still. i want to at least buy the paint. you should see the tile sample--so pretty.

isn't there a tpm story called 'fortune presents gifts not according to the book'? somewhere or other? last night fortune in the form of an unsolicited book for my daddy's review presented exactly the kind of thing my cupcake most likes to read. funny, hm? and i was sitting here, looking at the spine. it says MICHAEL ROWE, ED. and even though i knew he was the editor i was wondering, 'now what kind of title does e-d stand for?'
