silviakundera linked a long smallville story this morning, noting that it was very funny. i opened it, not realizing how long it was, and tried no less than twice to get wax to read it with me. 'no,' said she, 'i don't like smallville. i don't want to read it.' and then forty-five minutes into the practically novel-length and somewhat unfocused comedy, she changed her mind. fine. when i finished, she started. i napped. it's now 7 pm; we got up at 2. we've done exactly nothing but cook some couscous and stir fry some beef for the one lukewarm meal ofthe day, and i can now look forward to another two hours or so of wax reading on the computer, thus preventing me from doing anything. wake me when it's over for the commentary on dude, where's my car?.

nah, it's all good now. provided the one cause for annoyance of the day, which is a must! and now that that's over with, all can be happy and smiley.
