i have to say this: my friend's enemy is my enemy, in most cases, and there are some people whose side i will always take in any conflict, no matter what. those people include wax_jism, kitten_head, hollsk, and more pertinently of late--moondothglow. i'm getting tired of kerfluffles as a form of amusement, as i've discovered that they're fun only when people you care about aren't hurt. please, people, don't go around hurting people i care about. not that i really have anything to threaten you with. but i SO don't like it.

in other news, oneko_briar, my sexy identical twin ;), managed to officially transfer ownership of iconsensual to me, and i'm going to clean house in there in a desultory fashion within the next few days.

Cim, I have little doubt that I am at least partly targeted by this message, and I am actually relieved, because it gives me an opportunity to say something I've wanted to say for most of this evening.

I don't attempt to choose my friends' friends for them, but I do exercise the right to choose my own. Also, when a friend betrays a confidence and I discover it, I have a standard sentiment: fool me once? Shame on you. Fool me twice? Shame on me.

This means, of course, that you spreading things that I had told you, trusting in your confidence as a friend, has returned to my ears. Not feeling able to trust you any longer, I think that there is no point in us continuing to associate.

Perhaps you should reconsider the trustworthiness of some of your own friends, as well.
